News ProFI (Sept. 2016)

Publications

ProFI published a new paper untitled “Looking for missing proteins in the proteome of human spermatozoa: an update” (Vandenbrouck et al. JPR 2016).

ProFI is also associated to two additionnal papers related to the Human Proteome Project (Deutsch et al., JPR 2016; Duek et al., JPR 2016).

ProFI is involved in the HUPO2016 Bioinformatics Hub

Like last year, ProFI is part for the organizing committee of the HUPO 2016 Bioinformatics Hub, a hands-on meeting aiming at developping and executing original bioinformatics analyses on the publicly available human proteomics data (ProFI contact: yves.vandenbrouck@cea.fr).

 

Next ProFI training session, Grenoble 5-8 Dec. 2016

This training session will be dedicated to data analysis using the software suite developed by ProFI, Proline. More information about the schedule of this trainning session is available on the Training section  (ProFI contact: christophe.bruley@cea.fr).

 

News ProFI (July 2016)

Obituary. Michel Kochoyan, ex-director of IBISA, passed away May 16. Michel played a major role in the development of national infrastructures in life sciences and health. Members of ProFi are extremely grateful to him for its action and express their sincere condolences to the family of Michel. Read more.

Announcement of the next ProFI training session

The next ProFI training session will take place in Strasbourg (9-12/05/2016) .

 This training session will be dedicated to targeted approaches using LC-MS/MS  (SRM, PRM, DIA) and will include practical sessions (instrumentation, softwares). For more information see our Training section.

ProFI is involved in the organisation of a proteomic workshop

This workshop is a “Formation Inter-régionale CNRS-Inserm-INRA” which is dedicated to the proteomic analysis of post-translational modifications (14-17 June 2016, Sète). Click here for more information

ProFI at HUPO2015 (Vancouver)

ProFI is part for the organizing committee of the HUPO 2015 Bioinformatics Hub, a hands-on meeting aiming at developping and executing original bioinformatics analyses on the publicly available human proteomics data (ProFI contact: Yves Vandenbrouck, EDyP).

Oral presentations from ProFI members will include: (i) Characterization of Regulatory T Lymphocytes Using Label-Free Quantitative Proteomics (by Anne Gonzalez De Peredo,  IPBS);  (ii) DIGESTIF: A Universal Quality Standard for the Control of Bottom-Up Proteomics Experiments (by Jérôme Garin, EDyP)

New Instrumentations !

March 2014. New instrumentations have just arrived in the 3 ProFI teams:

  • a QExactive+ and a Triple-ToF at Strasbourg and Grenoble
  • a Fusion and a 6500QTrap at Toulouse.

All systems are coupled with HPLC systems (RSLC or NanoAcquity)

ProFI at the 9th HPP Workshop, March 26th 2014

ProFI will be present at the 9th C-HPP (International Consortium of the Chromosome-Centric Human Proteome Project) Workshop in Busan (Haeundae Ocean Beach, Korea, 26 march 2014).
