ProGénoMix

Leader in proteogenomics & metaproteomics. Unique expertise in multi-omics and meta-omics integration

The ProGénoMix plateform, hosted within the Li2D laboratory, is affiliated with the UMR0496 (CEA, INRAE, Univ Paris-Saclay) and is located near Bagnols-sur-Cèze, in the Rhone Valley. It has been a member of the IBISA network since 2017.

The ProGénoMix platform is a cutting-edge proteomic facility specialized in proteomics, proteogenomics, metaproteomics, and multi-omics. Our primary objective is to contribute to a comprehensive understanding of complex biological systems, leveraging this knowledge for medical and environmental diagnostics, while also providing state-of-the-art proteomics methodologies and expertise to support other biologists. A key focus of the platform is the development of mass spectrometry methodologies for the identification and characterization of pathogens (tandem mass spectrometry-based proteotyping, shotgun proteomics, targeted proteomics), as well as for the taxonomical and functional study of more complex samples, such as microbiota (metaproteomics).
By integrating cutting-edge instrumentation, innovative bioinformatics/data science pipelines, and a multidisciplinary approach, the ProGénoMix platform stands at the forefront of proteomics research.
