December 2013:
A 4-days course dedicated to the development of targeted quantitative proteomics methods using LC-SRM has taken place in Strasbourg from the 2nd to 5th of December 2013. Ten participants from ten different french proteomics platforms (academic and industrial) have attended this course.
The members of the WP3 of ProFI have organized the training schedule by alternating theoretical courses, guided tutorials and practical work on the instrumental platforms. The course modules were organized following the general LC-SRM workflow and included the following modules: definition of targeted proteins, sample preparation, heavy labelled synthetic standards, choices of signature peptides and transitions, chromatographic/instrumental optimizations, LC-SRM analysis, data interpretation and statistical data analysis.
